Japan guides

How much does an organised trip to Japan really cost?

A price is only useful when you know what it contains. Dates, departure city and flight availability can change the same itinerary considerably.

Short answer

There is no responsible fixed figure without dates and an origin airport.

International flights are usually one of the largest items and can change with the airport, booking window and availability. Room type and confirmed services also affect the final amount.

Atlantik Tours therefore sends a complete written proposal: final price, inclusions, exclusions, deposit and payment schedule before you book.

Compare like with like

The eight items a useful quote should make clear.

  • International flights, routing, baggage allowance and ticket conditions.
  • Number, standard and location of hotel nights.
  • Rail passes, Shinkansen journeys and local transfers.
  • Level and duration of Spanish-speaking support.
  • Activities and entrance fees explicitly included.
  • Travel and cancellation insurance conditions.
  • Meals included and meals left free.
  • Group size and any single-room conditions.

Budget separately

Do not forget the costs outside the main proposal.

Free meals, personal purchases, optional transport, activities not listed and any single-room request should be visible before you compare two offers.

Why totals differ

Two 12-day Japan trips may not contain the same journey.

Airlines, baggage, hotel locations, trains, entrances, insurance, meals and support can all differ. The useful comparison is the complete cost until you return home—and how much logistics still falls on you.
